WHAT'S NEW AT CREATIVE-POEMS.COM?
First, please be aware our staff is currently emphasizing our site's requirements for providing proper credit to all sources of links and digital articles in poems and profiles. For example, if you link to photos, you must name the photographer who's work you are using. If you use MIDI's, audio, or video files produced by others, there is a Forum update outlining new requrements right here. This issue has become increasingly important and lawsuits have recently forced some rather large and popular sites to adopt stricter requirements. Here at Creative-Poems, we have a tradition of requiring proper citations. This affects all submissions immediately and we require you to review all your material and put it into compliance by May 31. Violations are considered plagiarism and are taken very seriously here. Do your part to ensure compliance of your site!
Second, we're looking for volunteer raters willing to participate in the Featured and Special contests. Interested members are encouraged consider the requirements posted in our Forum here. We hope you'll consider this opportunity to become more involved! Third, the theme for our quarterly Special Contest is 'Democracy'. Entries will be accepted the entire month of April, so plan to enter! Good luck to all of our members.
