I am a 58 year old Down East Yankee living in the heart of Dixie. I have been writing for 30 (+) years and enjoy reading and writing in poetic form. For me, to call oneself a writer requires that you share with others what you've written. An artist is one who communicates through his/her chosen medium (Painting, writing,music, rhetoric, et.al.) ideas in thought provoking and unforgettable ways. If you don't share your art then all you have is silent words on a piece of paper. I encourage comments and critiques on my work, I am constantly honing what I have written,trying to improve.
