| Castle in the Sky |
| Somewhere far, far away,
There's a castle in the sky.
Where rain never falls,
And dreams come alive.
A white and blue palette,
A painting that defies.
The sound of laughter,
Refreshment for my weary eyes.
A place so far,
From transparent bars that lie,
On my window blocking me,
From the castle in the sky.
They taunt and laugh and sneer,
Provide, yet never fly.
Create then block and never listen,
From their host's sullen cries.
In one last attempt,
The blood shed flows from mine,
And now with scars and tears,
I'm in that castle in the sky. |

I like the contrast from the beginning of the poem and the end, i think it gave it a little more depth, and a sense of ambiguity.
