The Only One
The apple of my eye
The hand in mine
The beat in my heart
The place I always start
The bounce in my step
The love that I get
The joy that I feel
The way I know it’s real
The strength I turn to
The one who sees me through

my only one

Another incredibly sweet one. I love how you describe a person bits and pieces. It reminds me of how memory works. When I think of my "only one" I remember tid bits like his "hand in mine" and the "joy that I feel" You do an incredible job of taking these "glipses" and turning them into a beautiful poem. Great work!
