Encouraging Words To A Great Friend

You're a really great friend, I'm so glad we met Caroline. If you are down and need a hand, I will be there for you, for you to understand. Life will always be hard, Like the old saying goes, life is like a deck of cards. I hope and pray that everything goes well for you, You deserve it with what you are going through. Please remember you have a friend in me, You need a shoulder to cry on, it costs nothing. It will always be free. So hold your shoulder's up high, And let the world fly by.

Author's Notes:

This poem was written for a friend of my mothers, she was going through a very hard time. It seemed like everytime she turned around something bad was happening. So i wrote this poem for her to lift her spirits, to let her know she had a friend in my mother and that she would always be there for her.
