We Love You Grandpa

You're a really great man who we love with all of our hearts, We love you so much, we wish we were not apart. You're a great man, with a great heart and a great mind, Grandpa you are a one of a kind. We have memories we will never forget, It makes us smile when we think of it. You are a man we do anything for, We wish we could go back in time, and change a few things and a lot more. We know that is not possible, but we are happy to know we had your love, But we do know that you are being taken care of by our Father, the Lord up above. We will always miss you, You will always he in our hearts and our minds too. We love you Grandpa and that is no lie, We just wish we would of been able to say goodbye.

Author's Notes:

I wrote this poem for my grandfather when he passed away, i read this poem at his funeral. I will always miss him and i love him so much.
