Wow - I know this has been posted for some time now - but 64 comments? Never seen anything come close - and it's clear why there is so much interest (and also the award). You set the bar high, not only in your writing but in your expectations of that perfect love.

I entirely understand what you mean now... And all it took was one read of this beautiful poem. I would've been complaining that it deserves an award had it not already had one. Brilliantly penned. I just learned a thing or two.

we've all make such a wish, but that nightmarish reality is breaking everything nice. it does'nt give all that you long for. you did remind me of Browning's love, that love lifed in Florence,
How Do I love Thee, Let me count the ways
so you, at least, you could count your own ways.
Thx for this piece of romanticisme, I really like it

Perhaps it is the way a poet opens his heart...or hers...that makes them so irresistible. Perhaps...it is the way the words entice one another as they reveal our hearts. I have no real answers...only speculation...but one thing I know for certain...you, my lady...are one of the best.
Incredible!! Stirring!! Heartfelt!!!Passionate!!! Excellent!!!
