As the day went by, I missed you
Tender thoughts crossing my mind
Of times special
The first time we did meet
So hauntingly sweet that
I did not sleep
I could not wait to see you again
Every effort I did make, to
be in your company so sweet
The lingering smell of your perfume
remained constantly reminding me of you
These are memories so special
never to be erased.
