Pieces
She said I love you,
but I can't do this anymore,
every time you leave a piece of me
falls to the floor, and I've just had enough,
I can't take too much, leavin me behind
like this ain't fair to the both of us
so I'm sorry, please forgive me,
but every time I have to say goodbye
I fall to pieces.

There were tears in his eyes
as he formed his reply,
he just couldn't believe
after all these years
it was time to say goodbye,
this was his last chance
to make a last stand
but he just fell apart when she
put her ring in his hand
and as she walked away
he found the strength to say
I hope your life turns out alright,
while I fall to pieces.

Author's Notes:
This is my first attempt at song lyrics. It's not finished yet. Lol, I seem to be doing that a lot lately. Anyway, give me your thoughts on what I have so far please. It's much appreciated.
