Halloween is Such a Scream ~re-make~

I don't have a problem with Halloween
Ghosts and goblins never bothered me
But somethin's lurkin' at my front door
Wish I was certain
what it came here for

The points on his head are kinda hard to miss
They couldn't be horns but I think they is
Those fingernails look a lot like claws
Those couldn't be fangs but
I think they was

This is somethin' like I never seen
Long black hair and a snake-like tail
My hands are shakin'
I don't feel so well

I hear the sound of splinterin' wood
My immediate future don't look too good
Creepin' slowly, comin' up my stairs
I can't remember
ever bein' this scared

The thing inside with the blood-red eyes
Ain't wearin' no cheap dime store disguise
It's callin' my name and shakin' the door
Fun is fun
but I don't want no more

The boards are creakin' on the hallway floor
The knob is turnin'
on my bedroom door

All the little goulies have been well fed
Bellies full of candy and they're snuggled in bed
It's hours 'til sunrise and I'm afraid
I won't be around to see
the break of day

Now I'm not normally paranoid
But that's no trick-or-treatin' girl or boy
Gotta be a demon come straight from Hell
I can't be dreamin'
that awful smell
