A Coffee Ring
A coffee ring in the empty cup
tells me you were here once
and left imprinted on cup's edge
your lips kissing the small red flowers
as if to say one last time,

Oh life!

Absolutely beautiful....you took a seemingly simple observation and in it reveal such depth.  Once again, outstanding writing, Roger.

i absolutely love this, it's an amazing example of how simplified images can erupt into explosive meaning...The detail makes this so real, personal and vivid, it's great.

Oh Roger - this image will be imprinted in me always. Such a tender vision that says so much more than the words relay.  Deep emotion has been captured in your simple word.  Bravo Poet!  I loved this. ~Pamela
