Looking Back
As you follow your Destiny,
Brooding over the past events
of your Life,

You find you can
no longer bear the
weight of your Sorrows.

You look for a way
to change the next
string of events.

You find none.
But a thought comes
to mind,

Maybe you cannot change
your Destiny,
but you can twist it.
For the path forks,
but looking back
changes your Mind.

Looking back
Destroys all thought.
All Temporary movement ceases,
then you resume your usual movement.

Looking Back
changed all things
In Your Mind.

Excellent ode to the reflections of the past and to retrospective thoughts of the poet.
