Sadness

Sadness comes,

She finds me here

chasing Shadows,

Lost in the Wind.

Sadness comes,

She knows

where I belong,

tossed back

into the Dark.

Sadness, here

She finds me there

knowing where I stand,

Fallen in the Pit.

I speak to Her,

answered by

Her Sister, Silence.

Standing together,

Watching me closely,

finding me gone.

Sadness and Silence

twins alone,

standing, Fallen prone,

my friends

they are.

Dearest of my friends,

Stay with me,

Your Presence Sooths me.

Stay with me now

Twins,

my friends,

I welcome you back.

Author's Notes:

Sadness and Silence, my only two friends who stay with me no matter what. Sadness and Silence held within the Wind, the only females who have never hurt me.
