Shadow Play

My shadow weighs a ton

It stumbles dumbly behind me

Getting stuck in soggy puddles

My shadow screams at me, silently

It waves its middle finger at me, behind my back

And when I turn around

My shadow slips into statue

March right on shadow!

Yes, you can really run off ahead

Leash me around my neck

Chain me

My shadow drags me along

I am a dead weight, I weigh a ton

I can only follow my shadow

	I would watch the overuse of some words, like "shadow". This is very original Mahalarose...I loved the switch at the end. Very nice! Enjoyed the read and audio too! ~Barbara~ Respond To This Comment
