PLEASE LORD LET ME SLEEP
PLEASE LORD LET ME SLEEP!
Please Lord ,
let me sleep,
this jumbled mess ,
of worry,
seems so very thick,
and deep.
The blurred emotions,
aren't even clear.
The guilt, the pain,
the grief,
is the underlining fear.
It rocks my mind,
 to and fro,
while my heart rips ,
at my very soul.
Please Lord ,
let me sleep,
so in the morning ,
I'll finally weep!
Author's Notes:

There's nothing to be said about the loss of a loved one that hasn't been said a thousand times, so I'll jus say, this is very well done, Maggie...len

Thank you mother,i know i may have not known him very well being that i only got to see him when i was an infant,but i the pictures of me and him bring back flash back memories of what it was like...it broke both me and dad down deep,i couldn't stop crying for the two days after hearing the news,and dad refused to eat,refused to get out of bed and was puking constantly....it is a very grief-full loss but we will always remember him for the good times we had with him...

Very loving write.  I remember going through this years ago.  My first husband and I are still very close friends and our Moms and Dads have been in Heaven for quite a while now.
