Sore Ever Higher Lady D

Deep unto the woods you creep as an egg
Sitting in the sheltered woods for several days
Days turn to weeks, weeks to months
Months turn to years, a Millennium has passed
Your shell cracks, you burst through with a fierce thrash
Unleashed upon this earth you bring forth not wrath
Rather words of wisdom for those who listen
Punishment for the lustful ones who heed not the lesson
Years continue to fly by you grow older and wiser
Scales shining in the sunlight reflect as diamonds and rubies
The site of your flesh is like staring directly into a mystery
The journey I can not for tell your soul is bright as the sun
Mine is shrouded in misery and is black as hell
Upon your gaze I see further into the journeys of man
I bring forth the tales I see inside your eyes I shall continue this passion
Till the death of time your eyes glisten as rubies your flesh as diamonds
For your wings shall spread wide and sore ever higher
I merely ask ye for one wish
When you reach the mountain top do not stop
Sore ever higher

This is my poetic form of a thank you to Lady D for always keeping an eye out on my writes and influencing me to continue my unique form of writing the journeys of beings whether living, mythical or dead, I hope you enjoy this write Lady D, as much as I did writing it.
