Sky
Blessed be the sky so fair and lovely are you,
you shine so blue and radiantly fair across my face.
leaving the shine that sends me a smile as l walk,
and the messenger the sun tells a story of finest weather.

And your protective blue is air to fill my lungs with life,
blessed be your joy and sweet fragrant delicate aura.
each step takes me across the green land as you look down,
as across my path a swift flies into your epoch and dances.

Never will l cease to enjoy your precence, your jewelled canopy,
as the colours descend into dark, your diamonds turn to ruby red.
and the canopy of stars send down their island dreams as l walk along,
starfire bright starfire cold yet the blue of your spectrum remains bright.

Again l watch the sky as you fade away into the carpet of umber dark,
one last flash as you settle down for the nights energetic dances.
starfire dance starfire prance as the moon tips her face to say hello,
and bids farewell to her princess the sun who smiles for the last time today.

So fare thee well my blue companion as the night rides into black diamonds,
the clouded skirt of the moon sways to and fro as l walk back home again.
Blessed be you my beautiful companion sky so pure and rich majesty.
Bid me fare weather and l bid you goodnight, until your fiery dawn arises.
Author's Notes:
Hi beautiful people,
I have been soaked up in so many things l have had no time to write or comment here for a while, my feet have swollen, my achilles has tedonitus and my legs are sore but hey its far too beautiful to moan so what the heck! It does mean l have to wear stockings for a while, how the heck do you keep them straight?!! Don't worry they are only surgical and might save an operation. But enough of that nonsense l walked out today on one of those fiery blue days we get in summer so l thought l would share it with you.
Stay safe and well,
Colinxxx
