Lusty Whine

“Lusty Whine”

You roam in my mind,

That’s so unkind.

I keep pushing rewind,

Refusing to leave you behind.

You’re a rancid sip of red wine

That stained my lips divine.

I saw the road signs to

Avoid your kind.

But nothing but your prime

Ripped chest was on my mind.

Author's Notes:
I wrote this last night.  It just came out.  Who knows?

who knows and what does it matter?  it matters that this is a wonderfully expressive insight by a masterful writer

a little confusing my dear Tanya, what were you drinking last night!!!

Interesting piece that needs a little rewrite for the ending as it doesn't make much sense.

The first four strophes make sense, but the last confuses me, I believe it is because of the two buts The first I believe is not needed, and the word "prime" I find very confusing in the context of this poem.
