Shut Out
No matter how much you try, you always feel shut out.
In few cases it's not about how much you put out.
To be able to survive, no emotions can be involved.
As the days pass, it looks as though nothing is solved.

More and more information spreading through the crowds like a disease.
Holding hands protecting someone from the crazies.
Obsession seems to be consuming everyone.
Some people even think it's ok to stalk someone.

Every real emotion and feeling is being denied.
The truth is, is that everyone lied.
Only small bits of truth are expressed.
Then you wonder why your always depressed.

The smile is just to make you feel ok.
That you can make it through another day.
Weither it's in a can or a pipe we all have addictions.
But, no can take responsibility for their actions.

There's always a reason or excuse.
Doesn't anyone realize how they abuse?
From accusations to physical altercations most relationships aren't healthy.
Sometimes people marry just to get wealthy.

Love doesn't have to be apart of a relationship.
Why don't people start out as a friendship?
If we took time to see someone through their eyes, then hate would not rule.
Everyone would understand eachother and stop being cruel.

I am not of the same opinion Sophia--I like to look at the cup as half full. True, there are many people and dark situations like those mentioned here but there is also a lot of goodness and good people too. This is a look through my eyes. I hope you understand me. Thank you for sharing...good food for thought here.
