On that special day

On that special day

It was the moment

When we were moving

To a new place

In a new road,

With more space

Such an exciting time

Hectic, with an increasing pace

Noticed you from behind

A sexy figure, looking fine

Black shirt, blue jeans, simply divine

You were complete, beautifully proportioned

Moving your body in a peculiar way

Complementing your perfect shape

And I was mesmerised, by the way you walked

Such a harmonious move

Projected on your hip

No, it was not a cat walk

More beautiful, less fake

Amazing, and captivating wave

turned me to a walking hawk

I stood, could not move,

Not a step, I could take

To offer you my help

You too, were moving

To the house opposite

Oh, what a lucky day

Tried to ignore you

Did my best not to notice you

Seemed overwhelming, impossible

Pounding my heart to surrender,

To you,

And it wasnít my fault

That you were in my thought

Every minute, every day

Even if my head fought

Could not talk to you, could not tell

Couldnít take my eyes off you, could not say

That I had fallen,

For you

And could not think

What else to do

Now I see you everyday

Once, twice, many times a day

Mostly in black shirt, blue jeans

Nicely tucked in your leather boots

Just to say, hey

Look after yourself, take care

I can now even see your face

And I donít want to end my day

Not just yet

Could sit and watch you, all day

Not a second, take my eyes away

If you would just know, how much I do care

Couldnít tell, but would say

Want to see you everyday

Today, tomorrow,

Each and every day

And it seems the only way

Cannot publicise my feeling

Not ready to repaint, my ceiling

Cannot happen, no way

Not a simple task you know, hey

Wish I let you know

Wish I could look in the eyes and say,

Hey

This is the story of my day

And I wish, really could share,

Would make that easy to bear

And what would you say?

This is big, too much to bear

Not being able to share

It is not fair, not fair

If only I did not care

I would have shouted in the air

I have fallen,

For you

I am in love,

With you

I am alive, just to catch a glimpse of you

Ever, will you get to know?

That I dare not to show

How Iíve felt everyday

Since saw you,

On that special day

This picture inside my head is like a scene from a movie, only, stuck on pause and for us, the reader to ponder what happened next.

Last thing I would ever wanna to do is rain on anyone's parade, but I've been where you are now and even after telling the girl....it didn't go according to Hoyle, at least, not for me. HOWEVER, I do agree with the others, at LEAST find out, if nothing more than to end the suspense and put your mind at peace. You MAY be surprised, dude. In other words....go for it!! :)

Life is too short to have these feelings and not act on them. Tell her show her send her a link to this poem or better still write it down and give it to her.

Nicely written, I have read many poem of longing to  tell another you are captivated by their presence.  Go ahead, you'll never know how she feels and how you will be excepted until you say something.  I also met a neighbor, I told him how I felt, we went for a walk in the park and it didn't work.  I might not have been as captivated as you have expressed.  I wrote a poem too.  When I see him I ache terribly but now I know.  Take a leap, if it works out super, if not you can work on moving on.

A wonderful poem I can feel your emotions on every line.
