Flirting With Words

Flirting With  Words

Words, oh words

How beautiful you are!

And Iím smitten with you;

When youíre alone,

Youíre just a word

Together however,

Youíre my humming birds

Some of you tasty

Some of you juicy

And some look naughty!

Some of you is a match

Some look yet to hatch!

And some are quite a catch!

Words, oh words

I did say, did I not?

That I am smitten with you;

Look into my eyes

And make me wise,

So I wake up

And get rid of flies

Words, oh words

Youíre my humming birds

And till when,

Will I make new passwords?

Seems keep forgetting,

My answers, to secret questions!

Words, oh words

You really are,

My humming birds

So long as youíre humming

Weíll keep our bonding

Oh words,

How much do I love you?

I donít know!

And why do I love?

I donít know!

Sometimes youíre like rain

Flow easily!

Sometimes a constipated pain

Very beastly

And why do I love you?

Flirting easily!

And this might be the answer,

That I know!

Author's Notes:

No pills or other medications for me, my Dr. said! And I was advised just not to flirt, but with words.

I have been teasing myself lately, J

Funny poem.  Bright. Easy. Light-hearted.  Words are birds -- talking birds -- who FLY!  Don't ask me why I love 'em -- just do -- like you.  -David

HMMMM Are we talking about women or words here, flirting is good for you , it keep your senses and witt sharp. i like to flirt with words also, but they tend to go towards women later and then much later something else ...brilliant poem my friend , love it
