Older The Thinker - - - Wiser The Words

Older The Thinker - - - Wiser The Words

A dedication to a great poet, amazing person and a good friend; to David.

(Inspired by: ‘Old Age Brings Neither Wisdom Nor Clarity’, by: Firestone Feinberg _David)

Those who are awake at nights and not, asleep

Those who think about its secrets and think deep

Life can load; and load upon those heap heap

Can crash wills, and shatter hopes; so steep

No one is immune from taking the road, as such

Not a soul able to escape in the end, even a touch

You and I are in the whirlpool, no ground, and no crutch!

Have to circle round, and round, till centre clutch.

Centre of whirlpool resembles that black hole up above

Every single particle is doomed to head, and meet love

Those who are awake at nights, tend not to shove

Those who think about its secrets, neighbours to Dove!

Author's Notes:

A dedication to a great poet, amazing person and a good friend; to David.

Deeply touched by his latest poem ‘Old Age Brings Neither Wisdom Nor Clarity’ and subsequent correspondence; and always learned lessons from.

Artist, poets and deep thinkers are bound to encounter many enormous problematic questions and hence struggling to come up with some sort of answers and solutions. And simply, sometimes they’re able to cope, and sometimes, frankly, not. So, how are we all doing? Wish all of us a great journey with joy, as much possible.

In my adrenaline-whirlpool, I didn't nearly appreciate the deep beauty of your poem.  It is not merely a superb replication of 'a' style, but it is a really great poem.  It has integrity, unity, wholeness.  The sentiments are clearly laid out.  Although you wrote it with 'someone' in mind, its message is universal.  It is as much a tribute to Life as it is a tribute to -- someone named 'David' -- a someone who is yet shaking From.  --David

P.S.  Love that font! what's it called?

I am overwhelmed.  All of a sudden I'm not a blabbermouth -- I can't talk.  My feelings run.  My eyes...  Thank you for your words.  They are water.  Thank you.  Thank you. --David --

P.S. Not to worry, buster...  I'll get even with you!  But my retaliation: love!
