Never Heard. Still Missing.
First it
was lull; then _
Came the
storm, full-force; and _
Everything were
fallen; then _
It was lull
again; and_
I had
fallen; then_
Rose once
more; and _
Wanted
more; then _
I
remembered; and _
It was a Number;
then _
Had been given;
and _
Never got
the chance to call; then _
Came second
storm; and _
I was
denied; then _
Fell again;
and _
This time I
was pushed; then _
Heard the
voice; and _
I was down!
Then _
On was the party;
and _
Never
invited; then _
Didn't know
that never wanted; and _
Frankly,
didn't give a damn; then _
Rose again;
and _
Learned new
lesson; then _
Found the
child in Me; and _
Wished for
a game; then _
Was no game
to play; and _
Toys all
torn! Then _
Not even a
numbers game; and _
Had lost
the Number; then _
It was lull
again!
And _
Glad didn't
call;
Then _
Not heard
the voice;
And _
Would
memorise the Number;
Then _
Hard not to
tempt a call.
And _
I should
confess!
Though
never heard the voice!
Yet _
Miss it,
Like I’ve
lost a Nightingale!
And _
Every morning;
See a
different bird!
Yet _
None have
voice!
Don’t sing;
But _
Would they?
If I
called?
And _
What if?
Forgotten
their voice!
Then_
Will never
hear; and _
Will always
miss; then _
Will be
lull again! And _
As it
should be; then _
Maybe?! And
_ Then _
