A Journey --- With A No Taker

A Journey --- With A-No-Taker

   ... A journey, never truly -- started
... A person, never shrewdly embarked
... A place, never justly was touched
   ... A route, never frankly -- charted

Two eyes looked naked -- were waiting
Seemed deep in pain, gloomily aching
    Of questioning nature, piercingly gazing
How would I know,  they're never -- daring!

And yes, a journey with -- no map
Letís go back, look and recap!
Too many mysteries, should I unwrap?
Wasn't meant to be, was it -- a trap!

    Circumstances infelicitous -- this way
Grey, clay, cliché, conveying the play
    Companion, a-no-taker, shouldnít inveigh
A journey; what journey, just another -- screenplay!

This has a breathless pace and wonderful rhyme.  It reads and flows beautifully and is so well presented -- loved it to bits

I try not to look back thinking,  "What if I had ...."  God puts us on the path, but it is up to us to find our own ways, to live with what we chose, and to learn and grow from what we do ... do.  What if I had stepped over the crack instead of on it, just doesn't cut it in my life.  Yet, yes, I still wonder at times what if I had ....
Neat poem

Dear Dean,

Dear Dean, I am not always great at figuring out what a poem means -- but that doesn't at all affect my appreciation of its beauty.  This one is a fantastic leap into a new sphere for you!  Maybe not so much the content -- but the form!  Good luck in this unknown territory...  Don't know much about Life, but I can tell you that sometimes it seems like a screenplay -- and that's not necessarily lovely.

Love, David

Tis is some journey you were meant to take!!! I am glad i wasn't one to accompany you. Wonderfully crafted and expressed. Bad luck to the person who missed out on this mesmerising journey of yours.
