Happy International Women’s Day

It Is Her Day

She was a girl

Centre of attention

A beautiful creature

Outpouring affection

She is a woman

Maybe a Mum

A friend or a sister

Conveying emotions

She is the other half

If happy, she’ll laugh

Equality and fairness

Prosperity on behalf

Today is her day

Specially chosen

All gladly should say

Happy International Women’s Day

Today is the International Woman's Day. I am republishing this poem for this special day, wishing my friends here on CP and all the women around the world a happy day. Hope to see a complete and total gender equality in the world one day, and that day will be The Human Day :)
