Dream

I dreamed of you
flowering in the night
your flowing skin
a white sheen in Moonlight
and you danced
from shadow to shadow
in the breeze of heaven
a flame from darkness
answering my need
and passion's rage sang
my heart blazed
this firmament of longing
for your argent eyes
to turn and stare
that I may see shining
an eternity filled with stars
but the hours did turn
and I awoke and stared
on reality's cold hard face
and Oh to dream again...
perhaps this night
