THE DAY OF REST COMES ONCE A WEEK

The day of rest comes once a week

We try our best to keep it free

From stressful obligation — work —

For so our God would have it be.

Relinquish we our grasp upon

Those things we think control our lives —

Thus being far from cares — common —

How gracefully our spirits rise!
