Unbearable Loneliness
Woe for all the moment years I lived without you
With unstoppable happiness and suffering tears
clinging misery with memories that have
reshaped my damaged heart

Wishful ecstasy
with love thoughts written
a wandering restless spirit searching for
that life addiction called love

~**~

Loves gentle misty breeze cooled my wet brow
with the sending rain kisses of hope
on my parted unloved lips

 ~**~
You taught me the meaning of endless jealously
behind the smothering silent curtains of dusk

Hiding my damaged shame through misty eyes
my humble mortal regrets to then
disguise as a taunted smile
of unhappiness

The withdrawal of your love
was so unbearable
you taught me the empty meaning
of endless loneliness

Lost love can be so painful but not always expressed in this way. You do have a way with words

Well done

Merv

I come to see what can be plundered.

You left me with a mysterious wonder.

Ever hear the Peter Allen song, "Taught By Experts"? This is reminiscent of it, true pathos, born of bitter experience. I feel you, India dear, I feel your pain.
