Just a handful of places where our brave brothers and sisters fought and died, paying the ultimate price for our freedom
Fighting fervently against all enemies....foreign and domestic
Do we oft times take this freedom too lightly? Lest we forget....
Is patriotism really the last refuge of the scoundrel? Most assuredly....No
For scoundrels have not the desire, devotion or the courage to fight for anything other than themselves
No, it takes a special mindset to say...."We'll protect you, no worries....not on MY watch!"
What can do, what can we possibly do, to repay all these brave individuals, for what they sacrificed and died for?
Not bloody enough....that's for an absolute certainty!
In fields of stone, where interred thestallwart and gallant, do we honour and revere our fallen comrades
Ask Arlington what it thinks of them all....God Bless Them!
On this Memorial Day, we honour you all, you band of brothers and sisters, who for over 236 years, have protected and preserved our great nation
How stands The Union? Strong and united, because of all of YOU
