The Sleeper Must Awake

Lo and it came to pass this day –

Enervation and clarity –

He has made the dark go away –

And made it part of history;

Control of heart but mainly mind –

Is such a skill which few possess;

But should He hear your call you'll find –

A way to obfuscate duress;

The mind must vent for its own sake –

But too much thence becomes cruel;

He said – 'the dreamer must awake' –

Otherwise he becomes the fool;

And as the fool you hibernate –

And foster thoughts of darkness – hate.
