Mystic Grace
The sun looked out with a distant sinking smile
behind the swirling clouds of colors display

The last brilliant sunset reaching rays
waved to me with her hands
of gracious golds

Twilight was silent with her grace falling
 clutching night fingers were stretching

Will the starry heavens not become
to close and darken above me

I must persuade myself to now listen
is it an echo of something
 I cannot hear

~*~
This essence peculiar mystic spirit
with lingering final peace
 I feel inside my soul

A transcendental poem if ever there was one.  Strikingly mystical.  I love it!  --David
