What a delightful piece David! In 10 lines you say more than "Willie" did a 10 page sonnet. Keep inspiring us my friend, perhaps one day we shall achieve your level.

I admire the way you broach a thought and come to a conclusion with such dexterity, panache and brevity -- it is also so emotive for me with my twisted mood swings and sometimes flaky memory. Superb David --

Can you really know how much this really applies to me. lo l it's funny. I have been having serious issues with my memory I used to contribute it to the depression. The depression has pretty much lifted. But the memory loss remains. I walk into a room, I look in my purse or in my dresser, not knowing what the heck I,m looking for. if I was speaking and was interrupted in my thought by a flying bird, a word, basically anything it lost in the wind as if a gust came in one ear and out the other and wiped everything clean. lol A wonderful right. you always seem to say much with very little. I should take lessons from you. lol

Ooh. A bit like Bukowski without the cursing. I like the deliberate movement through appreciating what we have now because it could be gone in an instant. Nice work in brevity as well. A treasure. ~Pamela

As we age our mind not as clear...we forget and it upsets us all..
Sometimes I feel the same...The birds of time fly so swiftly and were just here
with not much music to hear..
So much silence....Love ~ India
