Like an addict needs their drugs

I need you

Like a person needs legs to run

I need you

Like a heart that needs a beat

I need you

Like my thoughts which are always yours

I need you

Like my body that needs air

I need you

I can barely sleep

I need you

My eyes always look for you

I need you

To make me laugh

I need you

To keep the light in my world

I need you

But I know I can never have you.
