Nature Songs

Up in the mountains
where the flowers grow blue,
in the morning
suns faint light.

In the North East,
where the air blooms true,
theres a mockingjay
waiting to take flight.

Down in the valley
where the cannons dont fire,
under the willow
that will never weep.

Where you keep on
 walking but you never tire,
I am there...
just waiting to fall asleep.

Of all the places
that speak of alter,
Paris Italy
and Spain.

I will choose the nature,
I will not falter,
I can lie down
and feel the rain.

Author's Notes:
I recently took a trip to the northern areas of my country. It was so beautiful that I wrote a poem about it on the train ride home. Enjoy....Shajeea

Well, you haven't been around for some time. This was very nice, I can picture every scene you wrote of. Well done, young lady!

Thank you for inviting me to read your poetry, I am so glad you did. This is just the first one I have read and it is plainly obvious you are very talented. This is a lovely gentle poem and makes me keen to read your others.
