Fireworks

Fireworks

Light the touchpaper of my soul -

Ignite the passion that is life;

Your vision – your love I extol –

It runs within me – it is rife;

This night the darkness turns so bright –

Like fireworks in the evening sky;

The son et lumiere – a sight –

Brings tears to my attentive eye;

But inside there are fireworks too –

My heart and soul in colour – heat –

Exploding at the sight of you;

My body glows from head to feet –

I am your slave – ignoble peer –

Please be my love – I love you dear.

This shows signs of your feeling better.  It's a magnificent poem, of course.  Now let the mood arise.  Sometimes all you can do is wait.  And you must not torture yourself.  Chemistry is the unrelenting enemy.  Don't duel.  And you most certainly CAN run.  It's okay.  We've all had our time in Jail.  Escape: possible.  --David

Likewise from me, dude, are you feeling better? I hope so. Great piece, Al! Say....I have a question to ask, hit me back as soon as you can. Thanx.
