Haunting Paleness

The haunting paleness of beauty was hers
even in deaths peaceful embrace

Her sensuous lips still revealing
luscious color of wines blush

Was warm blood still coursing
through her endless veins

Was she still whispering
her love to his suffering heart

Dazed and confused in mind
crippled beneath his
revealing emotions

Still She takes
his breath away
