This Distance
This distance between us has grown more in time
Unable to talk on the telephone line
Mile after mile of memories made
Move to the background and suddenly fade
Time is no allie of love it appears
It steals all my moments and hurries my tears
Forgetting I sleep by myself every night
I wake up each morning and reach to my right
It's been many months now since we were close
But I still remember the things I loved most
This distance between us is doing me in
Unable to reach you, to hold you again
