i wish i knew how to feel

i wish love wasnt such

a huge F'in deal

i started college today

waiting to hear you say

words of excitment

give me some words of content

at least act like u care

because ill always be here

standing so alone with closed fears

you know me so well

and your pausing i can tell

i wish i knew what you were thinking

i wish i knew what to do

to have you back in my arms

does he make you happy?

does he show you the love

i gave you unconditionally?

does he know you like do,

know you for the real you?

cause i do

i knew everything there

was needed to know

i knew more about you than

your family

back when u confided in me

and i confided to you

every word was so true

i gave you secrets to my life

let you in on all my strife

told you things no one knows

look what i have to show

i trusted you with all my pain

and return in shame

i love you i really do

or else i wouldnt still be stuck on you

you showed me a feeling i could never feel again

and all i can do is to pray for times back when

it was just me and you together forever

and never apart

you held my heart in your hands

and i did the best i can

to play smooth

im sorry for not knowing how to act

but you know the facts

and know me for me

so all i can do

is beg you

plead, adore

and ask you for more

of the love you once showed

before your eyes closed
