Words placed correctly perforce images
line after line, stanza by stanza
we dance poet to reader; we love
or hate by linguistic connections.
we vacation to far away places,
grow old and relive our youths;
we unearth soulís glimpses for good
or bad between every line.
When a poem read
leaves you esurient for more
you cogitate upon its deeper meanings.
Words and images flow in ebb of thought,
sentient, you commit your understandings
By this give and take,
word step here, word step there,
our living dance evolves
as each poem expands experience.
When we conflate these worded presentations
And careful interpretations
Our words become more than their origins
We become ~ gestalt:
More than what we are.
