Last Night
Last night
I threw my fate to the wind,
Discarded my unwanted destiny;
Took the first step on a path,
Knowing it was the best for me.

Last night
I gave away a piece of my soul,
And received one in return,
I made someone cry hot tears,
And felt my own cheeks burn.

Last night
I lept and didn't even look down
To see anything to break my fall,
I broke loose from the rules,
Learnt to fly without moving at all.

Last night
I threw my fate to the wind...
Only to have you catch it.
Author's Notes:
I couldn't think of a better title, okay? heh ;)
