Another Wasted Youth
One so stuck in a world of themselves

Losing touch with who they once were

Becoming who they thought they should be

Lying to themselves

To become a fake

A lost soul

Wanting attention

Wanting to be like everyone else

So sad to see

Another one go

Another one following

Another one gone...

Author's Notes:
I grew up with this chick...she never really cared who she hung out she's in highschool wanting to be "popular" Wanting and seeking attening! It's so stupid and sad how she's changed..thinking she's better than her old friends...we were there, we grew up with her, and now all she cares about is herself, popularity, and just basically fitting in! She's a Fake! She sits right next to me and doesn't even say anything to me! OMG and my old best friend sits right in front of me in a another class and is so concieted up the ass! Not a word from her either! What Losers!

Too many people seek acceptance. Honestly, I once was one of those people you're referring to. But then I realized just how wrong it all was. How I was not only lying to myself, but to everyone else. That's when I decided I didn't care anymore. All of those people who strive off hurting others, they were nothing. So now, I choose solitude over popularity. And unlike those people who were once my friends, I stand up when I see something that's happening that shouldn't. I won't tolerate ignorance, and I won't stand for being something I'm not. I'd rather have no friends at all, than live my life being someone I'm not. This is a quote I think you'll like. "It's better to be hated for you are, than be loved for who you are not." <--So very true.
