A True Weekend
The things that people in love

do to each other they remember,

and if they stay together

it's not because they forget,

it's because they forgive.

Being in love with him

is what makes

working all week bearable.

It makes cruising with

my windows rolled down

feel like I'm riding in a convertible.

It makes me dance to the rythm

of the copy machine

and makes Friday night

really feel like THE WEEKEND

It's not just the physical attraction,

I love him for every single thing he is.

Every word he says,

every step he takes.

This is something that will never die.

I have tried to stay reasonable with this,

but I just can't anymore.

I just can't

One night, the moon said to me,

'If he makes you cry,

why don't you leave him?'

I looked at the moon and said,

'Moon, would you ever leave your sky?
