When shadows move to trick the eye,
And stars hang lonely in the sky,
Do you see what I see too?
Do the stars set fire to you?

When you passed me that day,
And back again the other way,
Did you think it might be fate,
Or was that die cast far too late?

But so did we chance to meet;
Eyes together, hearts so fleet
When we pushed out from shore,
Stars to guide us for evermore.

And we sailed under skies so divine,
So long stars faded out in time,
Yet still we jumped out and waded,
Till your vision finally faded.

Can you still recall that spark from above,
When stars were bright, and we fell in love?
