What I See
What I see in you

Is not what you think is true.

What I see in you

Is a beauty claimed by only you.

What I see

Is someone with a tender heart.

What I see

Is someone who is precious, every part.

What I see

Is not your failures, not your shame.

What I see

Is how you grew through your pain.

What I see

Is not the imperfections in the mirror.

What I see

Is what you’ve become through the years.

What I see

Is the love that shines forth from inside.

What I see

Is the laughter that sparkles in your eyes.

What I see

Is not a fake, not a mistake.

What I see

Is someone who is perfect in every way.

What I see

Is a treasure, priceless in your worth.

What I see

Is someone celebrated upon your birth.

What I see

Is the hurts, and even the scars.

What I see

Is all of it, everything that makes you who you are.

What I see

Is just you, everything inside and out.

What I see

Is the beauty that you are all about.
