Oh My Lovely City
I live in a city with gates of pearl,

Built upon jasper, emerald and beryl;

A city with twelve gates in the wall

One hundred and forty-four cubits tall.

Where neither sun, nor light of moon

Is ever needed, night or noon:

For bright is He who dwells therein,

Free of darkness, free of sin;

A four-square city of purist gold

Where peace, and joy, and love unfold,

Where never a tear is shed in pain,

Where never a deed is done in vain:

No hunger, no want, no thirst, no fear,

A river of water crystal clear,

Flowing from the throne of God,

Where sits the Lamb, the Shepherd's Rod,

The Fruitful Vine, the Living Key,

The Rock and Fortress safe for me;

Where grows a tree on either side

To heal the nations far and wide;

A tree of life with fruit for all,

For Lubaina and Jody, Savannah and Shey;

I live in a city not of this world,

Clean and precious, jeweled and pearled,

Where walk the ransomed free and blessed;

And I, redeemed, as honored guest.

Lubaina

This is my busiest time of year at work and this is the first chance I've had to visit CP in about 3 weeks and then I found the wonderful surprise waiting for me! Savanah..peeking in the gate and waving at Lubs!

It is very clear to me and sounds a lot like my city. I hope to meet you there when the time comes.
