~My Daughter~
My darling daughter is two years old, While I'm still a kid, I'm seventeen. She's one of the biggest joys of my life, Yet emotionally and physically hard at times. She cried all hours of the night, While her daddy ran away, and is clearly out of sight. She needs my love, my care, my trust, If without me, she'd surely be lost. I'm physically tired all of the time, And chronically sick from the lack of sleep. I gave up my dreams of finishing school, And going to college and becoming an actress. Money has been very hard at times, So i took up two jobs so she can eat every night. My friends are all supportive, they've been with me all the way, They even came during my labor, and have attended all her birthdays. Even though i love my daughter, And i'll love her with all of my heart, Sometimes i wonder what my life would have been like if i hadn't had made that mistake that one night.
Author's Notes:

omg great write well i`m sixteen with a 3 month old daughter that is my pride and joy.  I never consider her to be a mistake it just took a long time to except the fact that i`m no longer a crazy teen but a parent. My parents and friends are there for me whenever i need them and without them i really don`t know what i would do. Sure we have our stupid fights but in the end they are there.

Very touching poem. Maybe it will show people to be careful and not make a mistake like that, because no child wants to grow up thinking they were just a mistake. Great write!
