In Heaven Is Where You Are
Time moves by so quickly You've been gone for so long But my love never falters It remains so very strong My heartlight remains dim Since the day you died Sometimes grief consumes me And I feel so hollow inside I try my hardest to be happy But there are days I struggle through There's not one single day goes by When I don't think of you I see you every day In pictures around my home I expose my deepest feelings Through the words of every poem I search the sky at night And I spy the brightest star I take comfort in the knowledge In heaven is where you are

I hope both our fathers are friends in heaven, and hopefully they never look down upon us and see our tears when we are at our weakest in grief over their passing.

Beautiful! Oh how I can relate. You honor your father with your words of heartfelt devotion. I envy your talent...
