Think of me now.............
A lonely midnight

I stand awake

Beside the window sill-

With eager eyes

Filled with hope, still.

A silent night

No noise of a gushing spring-

No noise of a single bird,

Not a single cling!

Still I stand awake-

I know you'll return by daybreak...

Won't you?

Four months have flitted past-

and you are not here still.

A silent night.

I miss you sweet heart.

Think of me, when your day's almost done

Look out your window, I'll be the setting sun

Think of me now, and I'll be with you soon

Look out your window, and I'll be the moon

Think of me now, wherever you are

Look out your window, and I'll be the stars

Think of me now, I'll wipe away your tears

Look out your window, to release all your fears

Think of me, 'cause I can't look in your eyes

Though we're not together, we see the same sky
