Summer Days
The summer day makes all
The sounds soft and dreamlike.
Voices and birdsongs
Sound all alike,
As if they meld and flow
Under the power of the sun.
Even the swarms of midges
Are rendered impotent, soundless,
Becoming but daytime fairy-lights,
And I, I too have been robbed
And can only sit, and watch.
Author's Notes:
Summer, summer, summer, I loves summer :)
