"Snow____Doe"
Snow falls gently in the evening light,
a log fire crackles and gives warmth
for the night.

Outside, tall trees glisten under the
light of the moon,
as a snow fox scurries to the winter tune.

Mountains are covered in a blanket
of white dreams,
snow creeps slowly into the gentle
running streams.

Beautiful is the doe, as she timidly
sniffs the air,
searching for the scent of the human
that will care.

Slowly she approaches the cabin set
in a picture of white,
aware of all movement within her keen sight.

Into the outstretched hand she snuggles
her nose in something like love,
as the snow falls gently from the
heavens above.
